We are small but pride ourselves on the level of service we offer our customers; this is done via a Territory Manager based in the South Island, another based in the Waikato. I look after the lower North Island and get out to visit customers nationally as often as possible, a roaming Sales Manager if you like. In the office we have a dedicated customer service and administration manager.

Our products are mostly manufactured in New Zealand; we do import some key dairy products (Metabolics) from AgVantage in Melbourne, Australia. We have an exclusive distribution agreement with AgVantage for distribution of their extensive animal health product range in New Zealand.

More recently AHD also secured distribution of International Animal Health Australia equine products, trusted and proven brands in our market such as Livamol and Protexin. AHD also exports our equine products to Australia, New Caledonia, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.

AHD is predominately a large animal company with a key focus and presence in the ever important dairy market and equine market. AHD also supplies a leading stock washing formulation for the NZ Meat Processing plants and is also involved with the MLA in Australia with trials with our stock washing product in cattle feedlots. 

AHD Ltd is a very flexible company, meaning we can adapt quickly to meet custom demands, product innovation and distribution opportunities.

I am from a Hawke’s Bay farming family and spent a good period on farms progressing from a shepherd to a stock manger and onto a general manager. I love horses and I am actively involved in Polo running my own club, Birchleigh Polo and a Polo School.
